ALayrisson Posted July 11, 2013 Share Posted July 11, 2013 (edited) King Kong did 332m internationally in 2005 without 3D and IMAX, but had Peter Jackson who was the biggest director at the time and an iconic character. I think that with 8 years of inflation and 3D/IMAX plus expanded markets, that should be a goal for this film. It wont do big numbers in europe like Kong did (52m in england for example), but china (12m for kong) and other markets that are a lot bigger now could help close that gap.
