animation is always huge in LA. I am expecting huge numbers close to TS3. Europe should be great as well. Its Asia Pacific that wont be great except Japan where I am expecting big numbers.

Very curious to see how this will do. $500 million would be great, but I'm going with $450 million for now.

 

Latin-America will definitely love this. They go nuts for animation. Europe should also be big.

$400M for now. Despicable Me 2 will still its legs for sure. I don't think the college thing would be a great factor because it's a sequel to a popular film. The main draw in here is the already-popular characters and the another adventure they'd be on.

Whenever a film makes a disappointing number someone will always excuse it with competition, but any film being released in the middle of the summer will have competition, and MI had to deal with the massive HP1, so I don't think the competition is any worse for MU.

 

P.S, Having said that, it's still too early to call MU disappointing.

In Argentina it broke the OW record (in ticket sales! 790.000), its huge here! but Animated Films tend to do great, IA4 became the most attended movie of all time on the first run whit 4.400.000 (Titanic beat it but with the 3D re-release).
