You should check the Hong Kong box office thread or this blog post, I was actually being conservative. The local expert who tracks the market in extremely high detail including presales is predicting over 12M.

Korea, HK, Taiwan & especially China dislike animation. Japanese only like their animation which regularly make massive business.

Have you seen Miyazaki animations like PRINCESS MONONOKE & SPIRITED AWAY? Those titles are like the AVATAR of Japanese cinema.

Not a good hold as it opened in more territories and had a big opening in Japan. Just a bad weekend in general for MU barring Japan.
