Dilusha Bandara
The money yet to be made from the markets in which it has already opened in. it won't be 100. Maximum it would be 60-70.
Tower
it won't be 100. Maximum it would be 60-70. It made made 44M in the last weekend, only very frontloaded films would make as little as you said, and MU isn't that kind of film.
Dilusha Bandara
There isn't any reason to get angry about this. As for a prediction: Already made: 129M Rest from current markets: 100M UK: 60M Japan: 55M France: 20M China: 15M Scandinavia: 15M Hong Kong: 10M Italy: 7M Others: 10M Total OS- 421M Total OS - 350M 10M in Hong Kong ????? only Disney-pixar movie passed 10 million there is TS3(11.5M) even UP, finding Nemo, the incredibles made over 4 there!! Tower
Total OS - 350M What is this supposed to mean? Do you mean you have raised your prediction by 80 already? 10M in Hong Kong ????? only Disney-pixar movie passed 10 million there is TS3(11.5M) even UP, finding Nemo, the incredibles made over 4 there!! You should check the Hong Kong box office thread or this blog post, I was actually being conservative. The local expert who tracks the market in extremely high detail including presales is predicting over 12M.

Korea, HK, Taiwan & especially China dislike animation. Japanese only like their animation which regularly make massive business. Have you seen Miyazaki animations like PRINCESS MONONOKE & SPIRITED AWAY? Those titles are like the AVATAR of Japanese cinema.

Tower
He is saying DM2 is not a big moneymaker!! very funny!! DM2 is already out in Hong Kong so this is based on real numbers. MU should not be predicted by the way of TS3 had been predicted It's not, it's being predicted based on presales, which are ahead of IM3 and Avengers. Trust me, you don't want to argue with Bluebomb regarding the Hong Kong market, he knows more than you (or me, or anyone else on this forum). druv10
Not a good hold as it opened in more territories and had a big opening in Japan. Just a bad weekend in general for MU barring Japan.
