Twilight: New moon get 2.0x overseas from the first movie and New moon it's terrible. Catching Fire can make 2.4x overseas being great. And the foreign distribuitors are better.

 

Twilight was hated amongst people who didn't see those films anyway, looking at its box office, its WOM was just fine.

I think CF will increase a lot in Latin America, look at Twilight -> NM

My predictions for Catching Fire:

 

Argentina:

2,365,803 -> 5m

 

Brazil:

10,152,708 -> 25m

 

Chile:

950,888 -> 3m

 

Ecuador:

504,498 -> 1m

 

Mexico:

13,913,267 -> 25m

 

Peru:

890,985 -> 2.5m

 

Venezuela:

1,692,559 -> 3.5m

 

Total Latin America:

30.5m -> 65m

Even in the UK, the first Twilight to New Moon was $16.3m to $43.4m.

 

If The Hunger Games were to follow that trend, CF would do $100m.

 

Obviously though, that's not gonna happen, but $60m could. Possibly higher.
