htall90
Hobbit 2 won't effect it much but it will cut it's very late legs slightly i think.
John Marston
what late legs? CF is not going to be a movie that has legs. It will be a movie that attracts a huge audience right off the bat and fades fast simply due to the nature of the kind of film it is

Wormow
The Hobbit isn't released until Boxing Day here in Australia, over a month after CF And CF rolls out in Brazil tomorrow (15th)
John Marston
Hunger Games actually had good legs OS.That was the first movie. Sequels have worse legs. Especially one like this where it is a sequel combined with a book adaptation
Wally
CF will have no competition in Brazil despite Thor 2, which was released 2 weeks ago. Though CF seems to be doing better than Thor. However, it doesn't have 3D to help like Marvel's movie had.
Leyla
&yeah it will get the money its supposed to. really good release date & with encouraging RT it seems like a sure hit I dont see it fading out quickly to be honest
iceroll
Any Brazil numbers yet?
Wally
Numbers here only get released on monday, but on ingresso.com, the site that sells tickets in here, it's saying it already sold 61900, which is 2x more than Thor 2. Of course this site is very limited because only a small part of the GA buy tickets there, but that sure is a great sign.

Wally
Guys, this friday was Republic Proclamation here. It should drop on saturday-sunday, but I think it will make something around 6.5M.

peludo
Guys, this friday was Republic Proclamation here. It should drop on saturday-sunday, but I think it will make something around 6.5M. That would be a 110% increase, a bit more than double of THG OW, so 20 million should be reachable, isn't it? Anyway, and if I am not wrong, that is not the real growth since Brazilian Real has lost about a 20% of its value relative to March 2012. In order to know real growth, we have that it would be really growing about a 150% in Brazil (without inflation).
