World War Z added $5.6m from 4,550 cinemas in 60 markets for $280.4m through Paramount Pictures International. Spain and Japan are yet to come in August.

The zombie apocalypse thriller added $1.2m in France from 736 for $17.6m after four weekends and stands at $22.7m in Mexico and $16.8m in Germany, both after five.

So this has a chance to do 550 mill WW.  It would have to get a Chinese release to have a shot at 600.  So my club failed.  It was close in a way, but it still fell short.

Brad Pitt's global zombie movie has grossed $292.5 million overseas and $488.3 million globally. Next weekend's opening in Japan can put the film on track for a $500 million worldwide cume.
