I guess FOX see Alvin as a priority before KFP3. Oddly Capture the Flag is distributed by Paramount rather than a smaller distributor like eOne who usually released the dubbed foreign animated films.

Will Dad's Army appeal to kids?, I want to see it but it seems it's aiming at the Marigold Hotel demo

Dad's Army is being marketed at families / all generations. Obviously it will appeal to older adults who grew up with the show but the idea is that they'll take their kids with them. Obviously it's not the same as animated films like Kung Fu Panda but there is significant overlap.

Croods, Kung-Fu & Dragons all look magnificent to me visually, beautiful color palettes, big spectacular landscapes you see rarely in Pixar s.

Dreamworks Animation started to be really good with the first Kung fu Panda movie.

Shrek was whatever.

Outside of the Shrek-franchise......Dreamworks seems to be very capable at making their other franchises a lot more stronger in terms of quality and box office.

Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda, How to Train your Dragon.....and now The Croods are starting a franchise as well.

Shame they didn't turn droves for this one. :( This one deserved to do much better. I haven't seen it yet......but it really deserved the cash.

Prince of Eqypt is Dreamworks greatest film but then they started doing buch of similar CGI films for a long time.
