Funny thing that as violent this film is, its very old school as well.

 

This film was a huge success and likely one of the most popular  R rated films of the past ten years.

[Napoleon]

It's too simple and straightforward action film but it's fun and visually stunning. There's not much to discuss, unlike all of Snyder's live action films after this. 80/100

[Rorschach]

When I saw this when I was around 11 or 12 years old, I thought it was the coolest action movie I'd ever seen. With each new viewing though as I get older, the novelty of it slowly begins to wear off for me. It's not bad but I'd be hardpressed to say the action impresses me anymore.

 

The soundtrack will never stop being sounding cool though (even if parts of it aren't entirely original).
