It felt like it could be a tv movie. There were no big cinematic shots or sequences.

And there was no real hook either.

It's a good thing Marvel already generated a ton of interest and awareness with their Ant-sized teaser, because this human-sized one is unlikely to do the job.

Maybe they just need time to finish those awesome scenes.

Very high, at some point Marvel is going to have a film not do big money. This might be the film. But I'll wait for the full trailer before I decide that.

If I had to pick a number right this second, I'd say under Thor 1 and Cap 1. Forget TTDW or CATWS.

Disappointing teaser.

I know it's not wise to doubt Marvel but this didn't look good.

As a big fan of Pym and a fan of Lang I hate how beyond average this movie looks.

I think Ant-Man could have benefited for Edgar Wright's visual style. I am sure the next trailer will look better. Marvel and Disney know how to market a movie to the mass.

They seriously couldn't have gone with a funnier trailer?

Apart from that it looks really pretty. The aspect ratio also works in the movies favour during the AntMan scenes, it fills the screen and makes Ant Man seem smaller.

But, yeah. Hints at not being the shockingly grim toned movie this trailer makes it sound to be. They probably shoulda gone with the "who needs superheroes" but from Comic-Con. The end bit was funny. A short teaser for a movie 6 and a half months from now, and it looks decent.

I think Paul Rudd saying huh summed this trailer up.

I actually want to see this now.

It's probably going to be as good as The Dark Knight.

Like I said a few months back, this one looks like a Phase 2's footnotes.

Let's just get it over with.

Granted, it could turn out pretty decent in the end. But I have no hype nor hope.

So is Ant Man going to be Part of the Avengers MCU aka Infinity War 1 and 2? If not, then why are they doing this?

I didn't say that. And just cause I liked the trailer I'll like the movie.

Yup. No wonder why it sucks.

And what is with the overtly dramatic tones?

Know your strength Marvel.

Very high, at some point Marvel is going to have a film not do big money.

And that movie was called The Incredible Hulk.
