The killings on teh home movies were good. The rest of the movie was terrible. Every single "BOO" in this film I knew was coming. Even the last one where the guys face pops up on the screen. The story is ridiculous and really makes no sense. The ghoul also has no real reason for doing what he does. It's not like he needs people's souls to become human again. He just kills so that a movie can be made. And here's a tip for the family. TURNS ON SOME FUCKING LIGHTS. Seriously, it's like they forgot that they are living in the 2000's where, you know, THEY HAVE ELECTRICITY.Terrible film imo.3/10

Errrr, so does the ghost in Paranormal Activity have a better reason to just throw a random pot from the ceiling once in a while and slam doors?

Scott Derrickson creates a exellent atmosphere, I felt scared the whole movie and I don't know if I will be able to sleep today  . My only problem with the movie (and most horror movies) is the stupidity of the main character, really, which person would behave like that?

7.5/10 B

I didn't find any of the stuff happening in Sinister scary. They were disturbing, that's a better word but there was not a single moment I felt my heart rate increasing. What the movie really lacked was action. Like yeah creepy atmosphere but few things happened ever and when they did you could see them coming easily.

B-/C+
