Almost clicked on that but then, totally out of character, decided to wait. I live down the road from the london IMAX and will almost certainly catch this on there, so might as well let it be fresh. Glad to hear it looks great, though.

I think I'm going to watch this in imax, deni always delivers with visuals and sound.

When are the first wave of reviews coming. Still have not heard a thing about this films quality. Would of thought there be whispers here and there.

Can't find any info on a premiere either.

Pretty sure this is embargoed until the Monday or Tuesday before release like all WB films.

This really does need some more buzz going around. I haven't seen much by the way of advertisement or anything of the sort as a person that rarely watches TV. This isn't a film I'm too interested in, but I want this to at least mildly succeed, for Villeneuve's sake and for filmmaking's sake.

Hot Take Alert 🚨

Everyone keeps fawning over the visuals, but I think they look like Deakins weakest work in ages. I definitely not a fan of this ‘one color scheme dominates the frame’ thing, the foggy and darkened exterior shots put me off a great deal and some of the interiors in the trailer are so poorly lit it’s appalling.

IDK maybe it will work on film...

Ford and Gosling are attending premieres but still absolutely NO reaction whatsoever from anybody.

FTFY and you are 100% correct. They're only showing 20 mins to international press. Warners have shown it to US apparently, with reactions embargo lift this weekend I hear

Blade Runner 2049‘s estimated reported net production cost is around $185M.

That's insane for a Blade Runner sequel. Bet the movie will look fantastic, can't wait.

Starting tomorrow, the first few thousand Fandango fans who buy tickets to Blade Runner 2049 will get a free Funko Pop collectible in the form of Gosling (Officer K), Harrison Ford (Deckard), Jared Leto (Niander), Ana de Armas (Joi), Sylvia Hoeks (Luv), or Dave Bautista (Sapper).

Here, these toys cost like 10x the price I pay for a movie ticket (or 5x what I pay for an IMAX ticket). And there you get it for free. :depp:
