Well, since I was a kid for most of his films, my opinion is gonna end up colored by that.

They Live. Love the campy humor. It also helps that I was a huge Rowdy Roddy Piper fan back then. Never been much of a Halloween or Escape from NY fan. Still haven't watched The Thing all the way through. When I was a kid, I was always disappointed it wasn't about Ben Grimm. :lol:

Interesting that no one votes for Escape from New York...

Sure one of his "big" films and a real classic too, but compared to "The Thing" it simply doesn't stand a chance. EFNY is too uneven - some of the acting is good, some atrocious - same goes for set design, costumes ... and the pace is uneven too. There's absolutely nothing wrong with "The Thing"; it's perfect and effective.
