Rough estimate: How much money do you think Disney will make from Marvel and Marvel Studios?

Well they've already made out on the Pixar deal because here's the thing. They can put the Pixar characters in all their parks, in rides, or shows. They can put the Marvel characters in all but one of their theme parks, Walt Disney World which happens to be the most popular vacation destination. And it's because the Marvel characters are 20 minutes down the road at Universal and they aren't being given up anytime soon. They only way they come into the parks is if they give a major property that's at the parks to Universal. Well none of the major characters would go Mickey Mouse, Pixar, Pirates(ie Jack Sparrow). Something like Winnie the Pooh wouldn't be big enough. That would leave Star Wars and Indiana Jones as the only two logical choices. Whether or not that would happen would depend on Lucas' current relationship with Disney.

I don't think this is the kind of deal that we will know exactly how much they make. This isn't a short term deal. This is something they will continue to make money off of forever. With Lucasfilm, Pixar and Marvel, the movies are the tip of the iceberg. The merchandising and licensing will reap them money for decades.

I think they could possibly give Indie up. I doubt they'd do Star Wars, because (IMO) it's a bigger franchise than Marvel.

And you really can't measure how much money disney would make. What we know for certain is that they've made back their investment already. The merchandising alone would've done the trick.
