You are allowed to post a list that has less than ten films, but less points will be accounted from such lists. For example, the #1 film of a five film list will only gain five points.

 

I totally don't blame you for not being excited for many movies, because this is simultaneously a bad time and a good time to be a film fan. Not many films happen besides films with an obvious selling point.

Hmm, good to know. I guess I’ll try to do a full 10 then to give the top ones proper weight. Once I do this once it should be pretty easy to keep up since you only need to remove released movies and look at ones newly eligible that week.

It really is one year from now to the date. For instance, last week's results were tallied on July 26th, and the wide releases slated for July 24th 2020 were "opened"; so far, Jungle Cruise is the only wide release that's been slated for July 24th 2020 so far, so that film is now open to participants. On Friday when this week's results are tallied, the July 31st 2020 films (Paramount Animation's Rumble and Sony's Morbius) will become available.

 

So unfortunately for The Eternals, we'll have to wait until this year's November to be able to put it on our lists.

Thanks for the clarifications. I guess Black Widow opened this Thursday because it wasn’t officially announced before that then, it’s another one that had me a bit confused.
