Wow!  Is there are chance The Eight Hundred could be the #1 movie worldwide in 2020?

I think the top 5 has a real chance to be Bad boys and 4 Chinese locals, but I don’t think 800 would be at the top of that list.

My People, My Homeland is aiming for ¥3 billion-plus.

Is it worth to clash 3 big films for just 2 holidays? I think releasing one of them in November would have been better.

Not really a sequel, we don’t know even whether Nezha will make a cameo. Just from the same team..

it’s a little like minions movie vs despicable me.

Hi everyone, does anyone have an idea/clue or reason why Avatar is delayed again? Maybe because they think it's not too safe since lots of people will watch Avatar? Because Avatar was/is huge in China. SO they're looking at more safe date? And when do you think Avatar will release in China 100%?(no delays)

If that was the reason they would not release so many big movies during the same holiday

Looks like a very strong Friday for 800. Almost flat from last week. Guess another $20mn weekend, and $30-31mn week. $450mn seems locked.

Is this the thing they teased at the end of Ne Zha after the credits? The subs had stopped by then at my screening 😂
