7 days of 400m rmb consecutively I think is something never heard of in the entire box office history. Will need to see just how bad the collapse after the holiday.

 

I guess at this point you make a film about Wu Jing jerking off in front of USA soldiers and the movie will still get approved by Bureau and gross usd 800m+

I guess holidays have finished. The forecast on Maoyan for today is 181.89m (272m for Saturday and 338m for Sunday). But even with this drop the final projection is still 5.5b.

Dune cannot defeat TBALC. Most probably, NTTD to dethrone in daily ranking. But, what matters most is the daily drops/increase rate. I am afraid to speak but still have a doubt if it can overtake Hi Mom & WW2? Any opinion?

SUN be mostly 325M for 4135M total. Homeland movie last year did 5.9x its SUN after SUN. If TBATLC manage 5.75x, it can do 6B, will be close to take down TFA $936M. 

Even 5x will see it go over 5.8B i.e. WW2. So new record is certain, hopefully it has legs so that its not just one week and done type movie at top but decent tail.

I probably expect the result as mentioned by you. But, earlier, I have such hopes for Hi Mom (6000M) which disappointed me later. Well, offering prayers to get the first 6000M film in CBO
