So would movies like DC3 open or wait for next major holiday? Of course with so much unscheduled vacation, there may not be lots of holidays going forward.

Sonic is big among first new releases .... the rest are even weaker.

 

Disney wont allow Mulan released in China too earlier than other territories. One or two weeks gap max.

Mulan is a global tent pole. It won’t be seen in China until rest of world theaters are also back in business.

It will do 50% of its business in China though. 25% in USA most likely.

Eh, Sonic isn't really action heavy and most features heavily pop-culture heavy Western humour. I doubt the movie will have good WoM. Also HD torrents of the movie will be available in two weeks because of the digital release.

I'm really curious how much these re-releases can actually make considering how rampant piracy is. If there are no additional/exclusive scenes, I'm not sure how many will pay for what they can already watch for free at home.

Re-release KFP3. Despite that $150 odd run the botched release date still bothers me.

you are joking right? HD torrents are already available thanks to it being released in South Korea’s streaming sites weeks ago.
