aha, maybe after tenet then, cant say i am suprised to have 800 killing it and opening one week before you and then to also have tenet on your sec weekend, even if it wasnt for the capacity, it wouldnt be a good idea

This past weekend alone, IMAX reported a $2.1 million haul from 3D IMAX showings across 594 screens in China. Sorcerer's Stone, which first hit theaters in 2001, now boasts an estimated $1,001,260,000 lifetime gross. That makes it the second Harry Potter movie to cross $1 billion, after Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows — Part 2, which concluded the eight-part series in 2011 with $1.34 billion worldwide.

This seens like the case of they read it on Deadline, twisted it a bit.

 

And TBH they may be true but what I am not able to believe is the number quoted is the one which Mojo wrongfully have. Chances of which being accurate are lol.

 

Besides Warner Bros hasn't officially mailed the benchmark as they will in case of such thing and handles like Box Office Report, Gitesh Pandya, etc will tweet.

 

@Shawn can tell us if he received something officially.
