Tenet start with 84 in Douban, quite bad honestly for Nolan standard. Even Dunkirk also got 84, but that after it stabilise. Tenet probably will end in 80-82.

 

Maoyan will reflect general audience more but reading those review in Douban. I doubt this got higher than 85.

8.4 on Douban is great. It's like IMDb. Should settle around 8 most likely.

 

But yeah seems like Nolan's weakest in recent times just like everywhere else in world.

I remember aquaman have a douban score of 8 and moayan  of 9.5 but that was a superhero flick which was dumb fun  ,this is a confusing movie tbh. WoM will be meh. At least it's not bad as shazam or jumanji next level.

75-90m  final depending on how it opens .

What's midpoint of Friday for opener, 3 or 4 pm ? Both of Tenet and The Eight Hundred still only increasing ¥2m/hour so far. I think today will be really close. The Eight Hundred might win though.

This, so many of those Douban review just repeat those sentence. I never know that Nolan is really popular in China. Just saw top 250 of Douban and like nearly all of his movie in there, like what...

Seems like Tenet is going to make 75-85m USD for its entire run I guess.

You know what old movie I think deserves a re-release in China?

 

The original “The Lion King” (1994). Since that one is one of the closer films to $1B but not really there yet (It’s at $968M WW). Big shame since it is a favorite among anyone or everyone who loved it.

 

Do you guys think the original TLK deserves a China-release or something?
