Chang Jiang Hu - the biggest Chinese blockbuster likely won't be opening on July 30th; still in post production.

 

But 2 local films are confirmed (and sudden) to open next week. Donnie Yen and Nicholas Tse's Raging Fire and a youth romance movie - Upcoming Summer

 

I am thinking Raging Fire will hit 1bn yuan total, Upcoming Summer around 300m yuan.

Giving the performances of recent movies, I think Raging Fire or any other upcoming title will be either very hit or very flop.

Donnie Yen action crime movie Raging Fire get 9.5/10 on Maoyan after previews.

Despite COVID scares and Olympic, Raging Fire staring Donnie Yen and Nicholas Tse did well; with extremely solid WoM as one of the best HK films ever made.
