I hope for a breakout for Aladdin. I hope the Maoyan score rises even more.

Doesn’t seem to be going in the right direction for that, back down to 9.0 from 9.1 atm

Why is Pikachu holding better than what the Maoyan score would suggest?

I'm guessing because it's the most appealing film for families right now, and kids are not as fussed about a movie's score.

What a horrendous month for legendary pictures If KOTM wom not good

both detective Pikachu and Godzilla in China just nowhere near projections

can’t really feel bad for them. You can’t choose CGI over story and characters.

You put 10 star makeup on a average girl. The makeup will look good at first but will wear off as the time goes by.

Just like how cgi looks at first then movie gets annoying with no substance

I read reviews on Douban for KOTM seems mostly at 3/5, a bit worrying.

Maoyan score is more important than the Douban score for GA reception. Aquaman only has 7.6 on Douban but 9.4 on Maoyan. As a film focused on spectacle and action rather than plot and character development, I didn't expect a high Douban score in the first place.
