Really curious to see how Ralph 2 is received. Parts of the film remind me of RPO, which did extremely well in China. I hope it can have better than usual legs for animation.

Hard to say. Too many animationa on Dec including SPIDY and Tonari no Totoro. But I think Searching will have a chance to make huge.

Competition aside, I also have a hard time seeing Grinch appeal to Chinese audiences. The film is not particularly funny or cute, and the lack of nostalgia for the character/Seuss will only make the issues even more glaring.

15th June JW2 China releases and crosses 250 usd mark

21st June JW2 Dom releases and crosses 250 usd mark (rather easily)

After that Venom China will be the first release to cross 250 usd mark.

If Grinch Dom and WIR2 Dom fail to cross 250 usd, then AQM Dom and Marry Poppins Dom will try to breach it.

Some time ago it was suggested that Ralph could do very strong business in China. A 20M OW is pretty mediocre.

WOM isn't terrific like Zoo & Coco. Disney showed too much on their marketing especially the chinese exclusive trailer.
