Bishop54
Currently thinking 690m 5days and 1450m (a bit more than 2x opening week) for JW total. So it should be very close to TA2. That would be remarkable. I'm not getting my hopes up yet, but it's good to see WOM is pretty good.
Jaybee
Calm down. We still do not know how it will play in other markets. If it makes, let's say, $250m in US, it would still need another $500m from OS markets to reach the billion, and that is not easy. the wom in usa is very decent and if it can get A or A+ cinemascore then it will be $300m+ probably at the end of its run there!it looks like $100m+ opening weekend in domestic boxoffice Edited June 11, 2015 by Jaybee

At least to see what happens this weekend. OD in China can be a good barometer, but still not decisive to say if a film can make a billion. Avengers is doing $700m outside US and China. F7 has done about $760m. To make $450-500 in those same markets is still a superb figure. Likely? sure. Locked? not yet. Said this, I wish we can have a third billion film before half year. It is just that we have commited similar mistakes in the past. I prefer to wait.
