alee7915
Why is official estimate $100.8M? Why?
pepsa
nice openig for JW, nothing like the USA of other forgein markets but very good indeed. I hope it gets to $200 China is doing much beter than most other markets, I think it's only worst than DOM, I mean if this movies makes 200M what it will in china that would mean like nr 6 of all time in China. (not sure about it but it will be realy high.)
seduh
Exactly, people are dissapointed that China didn't make more than Domestic (or near) but remember Domestic is still a bigger market, and JW is a domestic movie (the third part made half the money dom), so this is a very good number (but compared to FF7 no, but FF7 really connect with China)
abra
Olive whether in China is hype that JW could break the record opening in the US? such as whether it can help you achieve better results in China ?
Quigley
Why? Well, on this page, estimates are $97.3M. I can't explain such a big difference Edited June 15, 2015 by Quigley

MattW
I imagine ultron's first Monday being day 7 versus JW's being day 6 contributes a bit to it having a worse hold.
Olive
Yes, and SPL2 presales are quite good and marketing is pushing hard.

JP3 was an anomaly. JP and TLW both grossed far more internationally than domestic. JP made $557 million overseas in 1993.
