Olive
I never seen a single minute of a Twilight movie ... Take my advice, keep it that way. I‘ve seen the all four movies, quite a waste of time... As bad as the PA series.
A Marvel Fanboy
News just breaks out that Ang Lee's LIFE OF PI got the last quota of the year's revenue shared movie with a primary date of 11.21 or 11.22 (some says 11.27 though). Rise of the Guardians dated November 16th. Edited October 23, 2012 by firedeep

A Marvel Fanboy
What film is this? I can't find seem to work it out. The Chinese title brings up the result of a film that was released in 2007, not 2004.I didnt know either...
The Toymaker
Ok. How did you find it if you don't even know?

A Marvel Fanboy
Never mind, maybe it belongs to the list of 2007.

POLYLOVE
The Twilight movie flops today, even can't win Total recall on its opening day. No surprise.
A Marvel Fanboy
I wont call it a flop. Its BD was out for ages. Yet its OD still looks to do close to $1M.
The Toymaker
Thanks for clearing that up guys. And great job by Total Recall and Breaking Dawn Part 1.
POLYLOVE
I wont call it a flop. Its BD was out for ages. Yet its OD still looks to do close to $1M.By comparison it even can't surpass Assassins from last month for opening day. Also don't forget today is Tuesday. Whatever there is a BD out or not, it does flop by gross.
A Marvel Fanboy
Sure, it is on pace for $8~10M. Decent for an old movie.
The Toymaker
Effectively it's a rerelease, so to gross $1m on opening day is great. It's not actually a rerelease, but for all intents and purposes, it is one.
POLYLOVE
I just heard Bait 3D already had a BD copy on the internet during its release. Is that true? An incredible amazing job that it has done.

Decent for an old movie.Actually I'm even thinking its final movie can't win much even if can get a release next month. This movie is cultrually difficult to watch for Chinese audiences.Same to the Hangover movies, for the culture thing. POLYLOVE
BD2 same time, next year. Well, since the Bureau is unstopable by human any more, it could happen and we should get used to it.
Bob Violence
I just heard Bait 3D already had a BD copy on the internet during its release. Is that true? An incredible amazing job that it has done. The U.S. BD/DVD came out in mid-September. I didn't see for myself, but I have no problem believing Chinese bootlegs were already in circulation by the time it opened. I think the 3D really helped in this case -- from my observations, 3D remains more of a selling point in China than in the U.S., and the fact that earlier 3D shlock-horror like Piranha 3D didn't play in Chinese theaters (for obvious reasons) gives Bait more novelty value. But there's no novelty if you just watch it as a DVD or an RMVB download.
