China Box Office Thread | Deadpool & Wolverine- July 26

China's box office went from one of the bright spots and the most interesting 2 or 3 years ago to the most disappointing today :/  I hope people get tired of the shitty native films they're being fed soon.

Not gonna happen. If anything, increased success of native movies mean bigger budgets and more crowd pleasing movies. I think Hollywood movies will keep doing well in China but they are only going to face more competition from this point on.

It does seem like Frozen isn't even getting a real shot in China. Relegated to fewer screens and just a 10 day run? It's at a huge disadvantage before it's even known how it it is received there.

Ah well, that's still 10 days more than it was originally supposed to have in China, everything it makes there is an extra helping of gravy.

Probably will go down as the dumbest thing you've ever posted.  Yeah, when will China wake up and realize how much they're missing by not showing Movie 43, R.I.P.D. and Scary Movie 5!!
