A Marvel Fanboy
Wow, there will be a really close race between F7 and TA2 ! Quiet a few major releases three weeks within F7. Nothing is scheduled one month after TA2. TA2 has better slot than F7.
tupek
Hmm, they should change the release dates of the major movies to right after TA2 to clean the path for F7

grim22
FF7 will get a boost from the May Day holiday in China as well. Literally no competition for it from Hollywood movies I gather. SARFT may now load the post-Avengers release dates with Hollywood movies looking at Furious 7 lording it over local movies I guess. Neo
Sunday show count Let me get this straight. 80000 shows in one day.
grim22
Let me get this straight. 80000 shows in one day. It's China. They have a population of 1.3Billion, 80000 shows is not that huge when you consider that number. That is a lower shows per person than the US for FF7. 4100 theaters in the US, let's assume 2.5 screens per theater and 5 shows daily per screen (which is normally what a huge release movie gets), that is roughly 50000 to 60000 shows daily in the US even taking conservative estimate, and the US only has a population of 350million or so. vc2002
I thought TF4's OD and OW brought out almost the full potential of the Chinese market. Oh boy how wrong was that.
