spizzer
So 29.1M Monday per estimates? It's going to be around 250M by the end of next weekend is it not? Wouldn't that put 400M on the table?

Pypa94
Sunday numbers of F7 are higher than first Sunday of The Avengers in USA so it's the best Sunday in gross WW
Icicle
Can any of the experts here explain why FF7 is doing so well in China? It doesn't have an obvious draw like Transformers 4 did, so I'm curious. Was Paul Walker's death as big news in China as it was in North America? Obviously expansion of the Chinese market is part of it, but there must be more to it than that.
seduh
Incredible monday number. It made almost the same as TF4 on OD. $300 is very likely, not expected at all

Lordmandeep
Looking at the films, Films like Fast Seven are just big action blockbusters. That attracts all audiences.
druv10
How much does China Film Co being a production company on the film help it in China? Considering the crappy release date, I'm not sure it helped much.
MattW
This may not be best news for the rest of the year, there may be artificial "measures" taken to limit Hollywood titles from breaking out the rest of the way... Is this a possibility or a probability? I read an article about china's view of american movies as propaganda negatively affecting their culture or something like that, so it certainly makes sense that they would limit things (and TF4 had more than a few positive spins on china, example, having it make sense that they "allowed" it to do so well).
