fmpro
Fantastic Four will release on August 7th in China WITHOUT 3D. Can firedeep or someone predict the boxoffice range of FF and where it will most likely land. Thanks Impossible at this point IMO until we know when other big movies like MI5 opens around it.. FF7 did fine without 3D
Olive
MI5 will most likely open on July 31, I doubt F4 will open on the following weekend. release info on official website are always not correct and we son't set foreign movie release dates this early. Olive
We may catch up with DOM as early as 2017.
keysersoze123
I agree. I doubt DOM will go higher than 12B even with inflation. China will hit 7.2B this year with 60% increase( possible with so many blockbusters ahead like AOU, JW, MI5 and SW7), needs 30% increases next couple of years to hit 12B. A Marvel Fanboy
This year hitting $7.2B (meaning +51% from 2014) is possible but I dont think it will happen. For instance, July, without another TF4, could have problem topping last year's 3.7B yuan. Assuming a flat July, $7.2B (44.7B) requires a 60% increase averagely for the rest months of the year through May to Dec. There might not be enough blockbusters in November or October (except Lost in HK) I think $6.5B (40B) should happen though. Just made this pic:

peludo
So, the all time record will be beaten by $70m one year after another film destroyed the previous record by another $100m... Insane. What will be next? maybe we will have to wait to the obvious F8, TF5 or KFP3? or is there a chance that we can see a $400m film surprise before that?
