Surprisingly Classmate will be the biggest grosser of May holiday 2014. Should do stunning 450m+ with that kind of holds heading into holidays. At this point it is clear that nostalgic romances/comedies (So Young, American Dream in China, Classmate) can always hit big in China. Apparently audience flock to those movies.

 

Iceman not just flopped, but bombed. Hypnotist underwhelms with 15m OD.

 

 

It's always 6.27.

 

But where are you seeing this?  It's not on imdb. And I don't know where else to look.

Douban, if you really need it appeared on a big and trustworthy movie site. Movie.douban.com (Chinese) is the 3rd biggest movie site in the world after IMDb and rottentomatoes.com in traffic.

 

The China Film Group people have been saying June 6.27 release for TF4 since later last year and everyone who follow the Chinese market have known it for months (at least weeks Id say)....

 

For release dates in China, you better not look at IMDb. Most of the time, they donot put up these info at all. For those who dont read Chinese, probably the best way to learn about the latest release dates info is following this thread closely or simply making a post regarding it.

Wow, Cap just keep on chugging along - too bad it's days are numbers.

 

When it's legs get forcibly amputated in China on Sunday that's going to put quite the bite into it's future O/S totals.  Last w/e China accounted for almost $9m of it's $16m w/e
