Absolutely fantastic for CA:TWS. I just can't wait for TA:AoU in China.

Do you think it'll get May 1st release date?

That monday drop looks too small to me. But this is a weird kind of opening day, so I can't say anything for sure.

I'll update my projections when Monday #s are out.

Monday should be in the 45-50M range IMO.

That would be great but wouldn't that give TA May Holidays the Chinese government only keeps for local movies?

Sony screwed things up, if Disney could put CA2 in Holidays, they also can put AOU in holidays.

TA:AoU with that release date is probably looking at 200-250M.

With some luck and a huge marketing campain it may even beat TF4 and get 300M from China. Ps that would be awesome!!!

I highly doubt TA2 could get into May holiday in 2015. May holiday has been protective for almost 10 years but QingMing is still not. If IM3 could not fully get into May holiday, then nothing will under current quota and release system. However IMO TA2 wont need any holiday to look at $200m anyway ....

For Spidey Monday, anything over 45m is too high I think. Sunday was a workday officially but most students and many workers were still available. It was a little weaker than normal Sunday but still much stronger than an ordinary weekday. Plus the opening day effect. I would say anything over 40m on Monday (this is still not summer yet) will be a surprise and well locks $100m. Even 35m is not too bad.
