Nice poll results so far. Shawn is in the lead by a 2 point margin over a tied second between Fake and Impact. Looks good for Shawn securing a nomination to the second ballot. The purpose of the second ballot, which goes up tomorrow, is to narrow it down to just 2 nominees so that those who voted for someone who didn't get enough votes can still have their voice heard by getting to vote for someone who can represent them best, like in an election. That ballot goes up tomorrow.

The Challenge - Week 5

I'm not a fan of this Challenge. It's just too much. Two really great players are about to compete against each other, and unfortunately we will see the end of one of them for this season. After everyone was sorted on the list and immunities were handled (immunities being 5 points a piece, so some of you couldn't afford as much as you requested), the following people had immunities taken from them. Acsc1312, Baumer, JackO, Goffe, JackO, and Totem each got 1 immunity. CEDAR and Iceroll each got 2 immunities.

CJohn could not afford any immunities. Unfortunately, this means he is the first of the two competitors enterring The Challenge. And after everything was sorted out with immunities, the person joining CJohn in that Challenge is...

Yeah, but looking at the list, I'd say every player left standing is a strong player. 5 of the remaining 14 players have made it to the top ten in both seasons 1 and 2. 2 have made it to the top ten in season 1. 3 made it to the top ten in season 2. 1 just finished outside the top ten in season 2 but was nominated for Player of the Season. And the remaining 3 are all rookies, but they're pretty well-known. I'd say ChD is the biggest wildcard right now actually, because I'm not certain if he has experience in any other box-office game, whereas Baumer and Iceroll both do.

This Challenge is giving me a headache. Both players won, if interpretted differently. One won by basis of score, which is what The Challenge is scored on. However, the other player made a slight technicality, and it may be fixable. If so, that player won.

The Challenge - Week 5

It was a difficult Challenge to score. Acsc and CJohn are both loyal players and have a lot of history with the game. Either way, it was going to be a disappointing farewell. Compounding that was an issue one of the players' had with his questions. He mistakenly switched the answers for two of the questions, resulting in a no-score for those two, as they were now in the wrong format. Unfortunately, this means he only got one question scored out of three, which reduces that question's score to a third. A sad technicality has cost him, when otherwise he would have won by 3%. So, which player suffered this loss?

It was CJohn. A sad farewell. CJohn received a 32.18% score. If he had the other two questions in the right order, he would have won with 96.54%, enough to beat Acsc's 93.58% score. Acsc wins this Challenge.
