It looks like they kind of aged up the daughter (although that could just be the illusion of a more mature voice from Selena Gomez), but not Sandberg's character? The hell?! Aren't they married parents now? At the very least it's improving on what Cloudy 2's only flaw: the characters are moving forward rather than bizarrely backward. Mojoguy Posted August 27, 2015 Share Posted August 27, 2015 (edited) I just saw the first Hotel Transylvania last night. Enjoyed it. Better than Brave, which was also released in 2012. Mavis was a more likable teen, and she didn't turn one of her parents into a bear just to get her way. I'm glad the first HT movie did so well. I'm hoping this sequel can hit 200M DOM! You can't say it's not hitting at least a little bit above $150M DOM, just because you hated it. It doesn't work that way.
