Easily the best in the series. If you hated all of the movies and want to actually see a good one, watch BD2.

The ending was crazy. The deaths at the end had strong theater reactions.

This is why I told someone to wait before calling the weekend number terrible.

That is admittedly a very strong Sat for BD2. Still sticking by it being the most OW frontloaded though. I think the core fans are seeing it over and over this weekend, hence the better than normal Sat hold.

Thursday previews shouldn't have much effect on Saturday hold at all, because BD2 burned off the same demand during previews+midnights as BD1 did during midnights.

BD2 could edge out NM with a 44-46M Sat. Love how we all went from expecting a weekend as low as 120M last night, to 145M tonight.

Unless overall demand was higher than BD1, but midnight demand was lower (Aurora effect). Thursday previews enabled a higher gross than what we would have seen had it only had 12AM shows.It's all conjecture because A.) Summit's not going release the Preview/Midnight Split and B.)
