$57.7M. Quite nice, but I was hoping for at least $60M for Lucid, and $55M for Plastic-Man... This wasn't a big BO year for me, I did mostly smaller films with a few potential blockbusters, none of which (besides Summer Wars) lived up to my expectations. :/

Biggest OW this year for me was Worlds with 83M. Highest all time for me was Insurgent at 91M, but this year all my films have had much better legs. Divisions got a 2.7-ish multiplier whereas Oro opening on the same weekend is probably gonna get 4+. Worlds is looking at 3-3.6 whereas Insurgent got 2.65. Had a pretty harsh 68% post thanksgiving fall.

Bond will do it, but it's opening on a Wednesday, so the actual weekend will be muted. Last Six will have a fine story (already working on an outline), since I hope to make it a trilogy. Renner and McAvoy won't be back though. The only thing that worries me about L6 is the four-year wait, but I think it can handle it.

Year 6 I'm hoping will be a fairly big year for me as well, before a few down years where I'll concentrate on franchises and smaller stuff. Next year's got Last Ditch Effort which I'm hoping for Oro numbers from. Then I've got J.J. Abrams directing the first in a trilogy of blockbusters, and the 39 Clues sequel.

Besides... isn't December 25 on a Friday? Yeah, Bond won't have a 70M OW...

And with a long delay!December 3-5With Thanksgiving all up ons us, the movies are showing plenty of life. Worlds Apart managed to fend off Ratchet & Clank, while overall the films held well, with Empty Hearth having a good final expansion. Claustrophobia still could not crack the Top 10, but it broke a million in its weekend box office. 1. Worlds Apart: 24,863,103 (3rd week)2. Ratchet & Clank: 22,532,007 (2nd week)3. Dragon Age 2: 10,208,593 (5h week)4. Celia - A Slave: 9,887,718 (3rd week)5. Random Acts of Kindness: 8,820,445 (2nd week)6. Empty Hearth: 6,678,115 (7th week)7. Elizabeth and Burton: 4,517,228 (1st week)8. Catharsis -- 4,298,105 (5th week - Final Wide)9. Santa Claus: Ultimate Badass: 3,003,487 (4th week)10. Everyman: 2,647,115 (5th week)Claustrophobia -- 1,674,233 (5th week - Still Limited)Eccentric Minds -- 925,066 (2nd week - 48 Theaters)Corso - 209,153 (1st week - 2 Theaters)December 10-12:The Affair takes first place without much fight. There’s a crowd of movie seeking 10th place again as well. Drops are kinder than they were the week after Thanksgiving, as Celia keeps going on. Minority opens well, especially for a “political” “comedy” when compared to real life versions of such movies, such as Swing Vote or Man of the Year. But it’s certainly no The Campaign, either.1. The Affair: 24,709,853 (1st week)2. Minority: 17,048,221 (1st week)3. Worlds Apart: 13,485,747 (4th week)4. Ratchet & Clank: 12,852,257 (3rd week)5. Celia - A Slave: 6,136,318 (4th week)6. Dragon Age 2: 5,942,422 (6th week)7. Random Acts of Kindness: 4,855,655 (3rd week)8. Empty Hearth: 4,405,921 (8th week)9. Catharsis -- 2,894,117 (6th week - Final Wide)10. Elizabeth and Burton: 2,360,252 (2nd week)Claustrophobia -- 2,185,336 (6th week - First Wide)Eccentric Minds -- 1,984,137 (3rd week - 173 Theaters)Corso - 1,204,357 (2nd week - 80 Theaters)Edward Tulane - 328,256 (1st week - 4 Theaters)December 17-19:Zap! Crack! Boom! Both Spellforce and Dawn of Oblivion managed to work at the Box Office, though Spellforce won the weekend quite easily. Worlds Apart has a big drop after having to deal with completion from the two new films. While at the bototm end, Claustrophobia still cannot hit the Top 10 with its release pattern.1. Spellforce: 90,758,139 (1st week)2. Dawn of Oblivion: 69,391,442 (1st week)3. The Affair: 13,847,402 (2nd week)4. Minority: 8,442,279 (2nd week)5. Ratchet & Clank: 6,555,936 (4th week)6. Worlds Apart: 5,665,362 (5th week)7. Celia - A Slave: 3,670,745 (5th week)8. Eccentric Minds: 3,306,145 (4th week - First Wide)9. Empty Hearth: 3,091,406 (9th week)10. Dragon Age 2: 2,999,140 (7th week)Claustrophobia -- 2,846,507 (7th week - Second Wide)Corso - 1,947,326 (3rd week - 195 Theaters)Edward Tulane: 862,144 (2nd week -72 Theaters)December 24-26:Holding on to first, Spellforce won another weekend, with Once & Future King managing to finish third despite a weekend better than expected. Friday numbers were weak, which concerned some, but Saturday and Sunday abated said concerns, and the weekdays act almost as weekends at this point. Claustrophobia finally manages to get on the Top 10 list. *Eccentric Minds was release in its wide form on Wed Dec 22, but these numbers are only for Fri-Sun.1. Spellforce: 49,236,290(2nd week)2. Dawn of Oblivion: 43,869,271 (2nd week)3. Once & Future King: 43,686,112 (1st week)4. The Affair: 7,401,436 (3rd week)5. Corso - 6,235,814 (4th week - Wide)6. Eccentric Minds*: 5,781,452 (5th week - Final Wide)7. Minority: 4,316,657 (3rd week)8. Ratchet & Clank: 3,557,906 (5th week)9. Claustrophobia -- 3,022,197 (8th week - Third Wide)10. Worlds Apart: 2,924,459 (6th week)Edward Tulane: 1,592,445 (2nd week -First Wide)December 31 - Jan 2:Third time’s the charm. Spellforce wins another weekend, and Dawn of Oblivion holds on for second place. With no new movies being released on New Year’s Eve, the holdovers held on to keep a lot of their box office from the prior weekend. In a strange change of fate, Claustrophobia went up 5 spots on this weekend. 1. Spellforce: 32,195,611 (3rd week)2. Dawn of Oblivion: 31,199,825 (3rd week)3. Once & Future King: 27,124,707 (1st week)4. Claustrophobia -- 4,586,331 (9th week - Final Wide)5. The Affair: 4,393,492 (4th week)6. Corso - 4,138,556(5th week)7. Eccentric Minds: 4,115,314 (6th week)8. Minority: 2,598,987 (4th week)9. Edward Tulane: 2,586,394 (3rd week -Final Wide)10. Ratchet & Clank: 2,239,702 (6th week)
