The Creator
And I'd prefer Electric finish January holdovers, in case he was intending on giving Dawn a really great leggy run. I don't think Impact would just because he may not know what kind of finish Electric wants for it.
The Dark Alfred
Electric should finish of January, otherwise all the December releases might get different totals. Dawn, Spellforce and Affair all should have leggy runs in January.

Dawn, Spellforce, Affair, and OFK all should have leggy runs in January. Fixed that for you. Also, really surprised by the low Dawn numbers... Should've done AT LEAST $450M. The Dark Alfred
I think the OW played out as expected, but I'm surprised to see Dawn not taking the top spot on its second and third weekend.
Ezen Baklattan
Just an FYI, on weekend where Dec. 31 fell on a Friday pretty much everything except the bigger films (Dawn, Spellforce, and OFK in this case) increased.http://boxofficemojo.com/weekend/chart/?yr=2010&wknd=53&p=.htmhttp://boxofficemojo.com/weekend/chart/?yr=1999&wknd=53&p=.htmhttp://boxofficemojo.com/weekend/chart/?yr=2004&wknd=53&p=.htm

Alpha
How could 350M be considered a disapointment?Because the budget was $315M. And Creator wanted it to be the next Avatar.
Ezen Baklattan
It is a HUGE disappointment. Like so huge that I'm not motivated any more.Don't worry. You're doing actuals next year, so it may be a perfect opportunity for vengeance...
Impact
Because the budget was $315M. And Creator wanted it to be the next Avatar. That is setting your standards way too high. For an original sci fi it did fantastic.

Impact
Nothing can beat the year that a Will Smith sci fi made 30 million while a Adam Sandler drama made 175M.

Impact
All I'm saying is that anyone that sets there standard that high for a film is going way too high.
Alpha
I think Spark was a subliminal message by Hiccup.Spark opened below expectations, and it looked like it wouldn't pass $100M. But look what happened. The film had a 4 multiplier. It basically shows that if a film is great enough, everyone else who didn't see the movie in its opening will pack into a theater and see it, even after opening weekend. Its all about quality. Impact
Spark made over 100M after its OW. Rivals 2 which opened the same weekend debuted with 80M and made less after its OW then Spark did.
Ezen Baklattan
People predicted a 4x multiplier, and it's not that hard to achieve over the summer. Zookeeper managed a 4x, for pete's sake.
