Lincoln is still doing great. Seems likely to stay flat/increase from last weekend.

Red Dawn will probably be quite frontloaded but I can't deny it had a good opening day.

Ralph seems mostly unaffected by Guardians. Following Megamind's daily holds it'll do 17-18m for the 3-day and break 150m by Sunday.

Really great Thanksgiving. Even Pi isn't doing terribly.

SLP is basically The Descendants-lite in terms of box-office right now, and considering that film ended up with $82m, I'd say over $50m is not inconceivable for SLP - all it would really need is a BP nom and a subsequent theater count expansion. Too early to say for certain, though.

george kirk, Jim`s father. He was great, brought so much emotion into the opening of the movie. I spotted him right away and wondered who he was. So happy he`s big now.

Yep, and then I found out that he was the guy playing Thor, and I knew it was yet another superb casting choice in a Marvel movie. Edited by kitik

Skyfall $1b?

Isn't 950M - 1B more realistic?

$1b is a lock now. $690 - $710 foreign, $285 - $305 domestic. $975 - $1b+ and then China to come. Could be anything up to $100m from China but it definitely won't be less than $40. Guestimating $1.04b to $1.06b overall. Still has a shot at $1.1b Edited by achooo
