Breaking Dawn Part 1 OS Thread - UPDATED: $430,884,723

Recommended Posts

I'm really shocked at how well it's doing everywhere. Like in Australia, the hype has died down a lot here. I went on Friday night and my 6.30 showing was only about 75% full, if that. I'm expecting a big drop from the other films here. It's great a lot of other markets are staying strong!

I'll up this to $375m, but the US dollar is still a lot weaker than it was.

Wouldn't a waek dollar mean more money for BD?And actually it isn't that weak. It's weaker than back in july 2010 when Eclipse opened, but was miles weaker back in November 2009. Thats compared to €uro.

6.9 million pounds....more than DH1 did.

"Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Pt 1 does £4.4m in UK on Sat, and £10.7m total so far (Fr/Sat). From Charlesgant. So, It actually had quite a big fall yesterday. Around £14m from the weekend then, near $22m. Still very impressive compared to NM and Eclipse. "
