PHILIPPINES BOX OFFICE thread

Recommended Posts

Yup superhero movies / franchise flicks are big here. The Hobbit won't enjoy full December run here since the the last two weeks of Decembers are all local movies save IMAX screens so it will not top the box office here

Hugo is no longer showing in any cinema :(Anyway, Philippines Box Office for Feb 15-19 is back and UnOfficially Yours is #1 with $1.69 million dollars / 71 mil PHP for its first five days! Already #2 year to date behind Underworld Awakening and will definitely take the #1 slot next week, John Lloyd Cruz is our most reliable local box office draw!

Saw My Week with Marily and War Horse this week. War Horse was beautiful, too bad only around 40 people were watching last night at SM Mall of Asia :(

Just read this that there's some controversy about Taylor Kitsch and the Philippines customs, here's the full storyI don't think the issue is that big though but I do wonder what effect will it have for John Carter's box office performance next week
