Total box office: 168,442,905 PHP I wonder which movie will cross the 100 million PHP first. I don't think Underworld Awakening has a shot anymore since it's almost gone in the theaters
forg
I think local movie Unofficially Yours will win the box office this week. Wanted to see that but the screenings are sold out. Hugo is available only in 3D format and sadly I don't think it did well in the box office so it will likely lost half (or more) of its screens next week for the Beauty and the Beast 3D re-release. Also opening next week are This Means War, Jack and Jill and local action flick Hitman. Nothing exciting for me so I will likely watch Hugo again if it survives a second week in the theater near my work I'll catch Beauty and the Beast 3D as well because I want to experience it in the big screen plus to catch the Tangled short as well
kayumanggi
My work won't allow me to see HUGO this Sunday. Yeah I have work on Sundays. :(Will HUGO still be around next week?

kayumanggi
^ how old are the kids? If they are 10 below, maybe not. It's not your typical children's flickWAbout that age. We just ate at a restaurant. Will try to see this next week.
forg
My work won't allow me to see HUGO this Sunday. Yeah I have work on Sundays. :(Will HUGO still be around next week? It's only limited because it's only shown on 3D screensand unfortunately I don't think it's earning enough so it will likely shed half of its screens next week. I think it will still be around with the malls with lots of theaters like SM Megamall and Mall of Asia
kayumanggi
My place is far from those malls. I'll try at SM North or Fairview. Edited February 20, 2012 by kayumanggi
forg
SM North has 12 cinemas right? Never been there. But anyway as long as they have many cinemas I think Hugo will survive there for a second week

forg
Per Click the City, sadly Hugo is now only being shown at MOA and Megamall :(In other news, local press release say that Unofficially Yours crossed 100 million PHP in the box office already, let's see if it will match up with BOM. forg
BOM released new stats but no numbers for local movie Unofficially Yours yet. Ghost Rider 2 did well, will post the list in a bit
forg
The Feb. 15 - 19 box office report disappeared on BOM although the 2012 tally is still updated. Maybe they will add the numbers for the local film that was missing from the first report

forg
I doubt it probably $6-$8 million. Last year's top movie here Transformers 3 earned $9.7 million and that's already huge here

forg
Yeah but to be fair this has 3D so it might match SM3's box office in 2007. But maybe I'm just underestimating this TASM's appeal. Still too early to tell Edited February 26, 2012 by forg
