The Top 10 Comic Book Movies of All Time [2012](Ranked by the Boxoffice Forums)

Recommended Posts

No.. You're wrong and you know it and the facts pretty well support that the GA loved The AVENGERS much more than TDKR befause it was simply a more entertaining movie while TDKR was downright dark and depressing with a plot and villain that really wasn't that satisfying except for the diehards who were already predisposed to loving it or at best, liking it before seeing it cause it was Nolan..

TDKR was loved, very loved by the general public and critics with high critical acclaim and large rewatch value.

If it wasn't for the shootings and lack of 3D, the gross would be much higher, it's just mathematical fact.

The vocal minority can scream as much as they want, but regardless of their opinion of TDKR (better than/worse than/on par with The Avengers), it's clearly obvious that the vast majority of people enjoyed it greatly.

Granted, neither film had the massive impact on film and pop culture like the Dark Knight did 4 years ago and still does today.

This is what you call the world balancing itself out....

At this point, I have no idea what you were referring to. And I am not saying that to be mean.

This thread was about best CBM voted by this forum. We werent referencing boxoffice. I was referring to critical acclaim for TDK and how it still tops the lists people make for best comic book movies. It was also a dig at BKB to rile him up abit more :P

The rotten/fresh status (percentage) means nothing, the average rating is far more important.

Re: the TOP 10 list

I know & understand that TDK is everyone's favorite & would top the list. But I would rank TDKR even closer. With tighter editing and removal of Catwoman character (bloat, just a fan service) & re-thinking of the climax (the crowd scene & the subsequent chase sequence feel like a cheap component of a standard action movie), TDKR will be my favorite Batman movie of all time. Ever.
