Fancyarcher
I prefer Hellboy 1 over part 2 personally. as for this, it looks interesting nothing. Nothing great, but hopefully it's good Hellboy 1 is pretty good too, I'd say. It's an excellent comic adaptation, if anything. Hellboy 1 and 2 also make for a great double feature, especially since both films are kinda tonally different. shayhiri
The reviews are out - and are spectacular. Why the fuck did they ban them for so long?
moviesRus
Reviews are fine, not amazing. Once they're out they can't deceive the audience into thinking its a horror movie.
shayhiri
It's a sad sad world we live in - where the masterpieces of art have to be forcefully disguised as the filthiest, cheapest, dumbest schlock the zombified retarded public craves. Ray G
Lot of people saying "Visually spectacular, predictable story and takes way too long to get going". I'm still excited to see it.
RichWS
I disliked Pan's Labyrinth when I saw it, but at this point I barely remember why. I need to see it again. Exact same here. I recall it being a big disappointment, although I may have overhyped myself at the time.
Lestranger
When I saw the trailer I thought this was going to take off, but it is landing with a dud right now. It looks beautiful, but the marketing has been an abject failure. The early trailer was great at hinting about the general vibe of the film. Nothing else has really come out since then to make this movie seem like a must watch. So they failed on the last leg of the marketing here. I can't see it doing more than mid teens. kaijukurt
Huh. A bunch of friends who watched this were expecting a Gothic thriller, not a horror. And they loved it. Guess it really helps watching this with the right mindset.
TStechnij
I didnt know people didn't like Pan's Labrynth. It is a masterpiece and some of the most interesting story telling in recent cinema. I definitely suggest a revisit!
Jack Nevada
Glad to hear Chastain's the MVP here. Its crazy what a career she's made for herself in the past five years.

Sounds about right based on the script, which I still liked.

Jack Nevada
Haven't seen Pan's Labyrinth since maybe 2009? So I cant really say anything about it, though I remember there being some HORRIFYINGLY violent scenes in there like the guy bashing a dude's face in with a bottle. Those stuck out. kowhite
Saw CP tonight and thought it was alright. I liked Mama better though. I saw Mama. Honestly, the only thing I remember about Mama was that I watched it. And her hair is black.
