A Marvel Fanboy
OS is getting a different version of Lincoln:http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/steven-spielbergs-lincoln-gets-tweaked-412843
JCS
Decent. Multiple Oscar nominee Lincoln began its roll-out and grossed $3.1m from Spain and Mexico. The historical drama opened in second place in Spain on $2.3m from 344 and placed third in Mexico on $729,391 from 259.
UptoLight
Decent. It is great for it in Spain I think. For example Les Mis did $2,255,603 from 448.
iceroll
Will this even make 100m OS now?
John Marston
I think there are some countries it can do well in
riczhang
Will this even make 100m OS now? Don't think so. I never expected it to though.
CJohn
It barely opened OS. You guys are already saying it is flopping hard. WTF?!?!
riczhang
It barely opened OS. You guys are already saying it is flopping hard. WTF?!?! It's doing poorly in the UK which is likely its biggest market. It's not on a trajectory to do well OS.
Hiccup
Lincoln isn't an overseas film
Jonwo
It's not an easy sell but I think Dreamworks and FOX will be satisfied with a $50-60m OS gross, it's best markets will likely be English speaking markets but I don't expect huge grosses but it'll likely have a good run,

lab276
I think it will do well in Australia.
The Dark Alfred
I think it's a childish and stupid to put something like to the title. It's not flopping hard. You can't judge a performance of an Oscar movie after one week in release. Come again one week after the Oscar and then we can talk about its OS numbers...
fishstick
Best title ever.
The Dark Alfred
Clearly the title creator is a troll. He will be proven wrong in 6 weeks.
iceroll
We'll see about that. But either way, there's no way OS is beating domestic, and that will make it one of the only 3 movies that made over 150m this year with an OS % of less than 50. Well, it is a film entrenched in America. Not everything travels. It's also been such a huge hit DOM that it doesn't even matter.
The Dark Alfred
100m is the target for Lincoln to be an OS hit, 75m is the bar of success which will be achieved comfortably. It should do less than 50m to call it a flop, so yes calling it flopping hard is trolling and stupid considering the films upcoming Oscar publicity. riczhang
I'll just say this right now, but I do not think that any number of Oscar wins will have a significant impact on its OS gross. This movie just got 12 fucking Oscar noms, the most OD the ear, and the magical bump that we'd expect to see in the OS openings never happened.
