vc2002
inception is definitely better than gravity, and miles better than the matrix. So your order is: Inception > Gravity > The Matrix ?? Edited July 1, 2014 by vc2002
FilmBuff
Just a perfect movie! A+++++++ Nolan's Magnum opus. Sensational originality. Great screenplay. Musical score = My GOD!! One of the greatest sci-fi movies of all time.

Wormhole
It's better than Gravity, which I really didn't enjoy all that much, although I recognize its technological brilliance. But better than the Matrix? Not sure I'd go that far. Inception was a 10/10 for me on first viewing, but the "explain everything to the audience" exposition can get a bit tiresome on repeated viewings. That's my only complaint, though. Tremendous final act. 9/10
Dark Jedi Master 007
The idea that Inception is overwhelmingly better than The Matrix is just wrong. Edited July 2, 2014 by Dark Jedi Master 007

Goffe
more like Gravity > Inception = Matrix they're all really close though
Lordmandeep
Gravity is more visuals. Inception and Matrix excel more on story, character and themes.
luna
gravity is a purely visual experience indeed. the matrix is very enjoyable, i'll give it that, but any time any of the characters opened their mouth to spout their pop philosophy, it was quite unbearable. fate, destiny, love saving the day, finding your inner self, blah blah blah. Blankments
Just did a rewatch today... and it's very meh actually. Besides the last half hour, it's dull and doesn't really keep my attention. That said, the ending with the gravity fight and Fischer's glorious scene remains amazing. Still, I gotta lower my grade to a B The score remains awesome though Edited August 29, 2014 by Blankments

lilmac
As of now, the percentage of voters who voted A here is exactly identical to that of Interstellar. 70.89% The Moviecritic scores are roughly the same too. ShouldIBeHere
In this one Nolan had his vision much more under control than with Interstellar. And made a better movie. B+
