I'm surprised a thriller hasn't been made about this possibility yet.    Desperate or maybe just really greedy (is that unusual though?) Studio heads killing off pivotal lead and supporting actors to their ten pole films to boost revenue.   I see it as a Coen Bro movie.

Given his weird public persona, Depp is one of the actors I would be least surprised to find out was suddenly dead, probably in extremely bizarre circumstances.

 

On the other hand, if Keith Richards was reported dead, that would be shocking. I don't think we even have access to the holy/magic weapons needed to kill an undead of his power.
