Distributed by Warner Bros., the 3D epic rolled out in 3,100 theaters at 12:01 a.m. Friday. New Line and MGM co-produced and co-financed the movie.Pretty wide showing for midnights. And there were no 10PM showings either right? I can't believe people thought this was disappointing! 12.4m is amazing for a December family film when people still have work/school the next day and right in the middle of exams for university students.

Oh :/ slightly less impressive but still pretty good. I think 10pm + midnights now is roughly what midnights were pre-TDKR. This trend was true for BD2 as well.

No if it got an I Am Legend multiplier off 80, that would be 263m total. I Am Legend's WOM was pretty average too.
