peludo
Very similar drop for TH than for I am legend (-59%). This can be a good reference given it was released exactly the same date, December 14th, Friday too
Dementeleus
I predicted $7.5m, so it held a touch better than I expected.
fishstick
Very excellent for Lincoln. I don`t know why this movie isn`t on more Boxoffice Story of the Year lists that always have TA,THG, Ted and Skyfall. Those are stories but so is Linc. It`s become a bone fide blockbuster. Everything goes up today anyway. BUT HOBBIT MUST BOMB! BOMB! BOMB! BOMB! Edited December 18, 2012 by fishnets

If that happens, the meltdown on here will be crazy.
Jack Sparrow
That's actually great for Hobbit. I thought it will have a lower Monday about $7.4m because of the obvious frontloading.

baumer
Based off a 7.7, it is heading to about a 50% drop this weekend.
htall90
It's all relative Lincoln may not have one of the biggest openings or biggest box office total for the year but relative to genre and pre release expectation it is one of the best runs of the year
Neo
Isn't 39M a bit low, aren't we looking at 40M+ upwards of up to 50M for the wknd?
fishstick
If it follows IAL's multiplier, it will make $280m. If that happens, the meltdown on here will be crazy.I`d love to see that because that would make my TH Under BD2 prediction come true. I`d love Twihards to beat Ringers because arrogant Ringers were always fighting with Star wars fans and HP fans and didn`t think Twi would ever threaten Th`s BO. Now that twist would be amazing!
Jack Sparrow
So it held 2% better than you thought, and that is considered "much better?" Its weekdays 2% difference is also big IMO ;)Anyways it is great for me because its better than I thought but given IAL's hold it could have done a little better
Dementeleus
No, I think 50% is about right, unless it ends up being more of a weekend movie. We don't really know that yet.
