If there's one thing we learned this year it is that the Oscars and Guilds love to be shoehorned into voting for the nominees, but this year with no shoehorn for Director they voted for what the really loved. But, now the all mighty Academy has spoken and I expect all the guilds to be shoehorned into voting for what the Academy loved as happens every year.
