Pre-sales for tomorrow at my cinema with 6 new releases:

Angry Birds 2 (10 Shows): 7 tickets sold

Best comparison here is Lego Movie 2 who sold 10 tickets and grossed 715K. The first one did €1.6M back in 2016 and comparing other countries like USA or UK when the second part free-falled, we can expect a 650K OW (60% less)

Crawl (5 Shows): 2 tickets sold

Comps like Pet Sematary and Scary Stories put this film on low 200K but I think it will do much more. Comparing Scary Stories OW two weeks ago, let's put Crawl with a 20% drop and 455K.

Good Boys (5 Shows): 2 tickets sold

This could be the wildcard of the weekend. I don't have any particular comp because Booksmart flopped and Long Shot didn't do good either. Let's put Good Boys with 625K and I hope it overperforms.

Stuber (5 Shows): 0 tickets sold

This is getting a small release here with 0 promo. Out of Top 10

Der Junge muss an die frische Luft (5 shows): 0 tickets sold

German film who is getting a lot of promo here but the release is pretty small (less than 80 theaters I guess) so we can expect a low Top 10 or Out of Top 10

Kirin no shita no kioku (4 Shows): 0 tickets sold

Japanese film in limited release. Out of top 10

Pre-sales for tomorrow at my cinema with 6 new releases:

Dora And The Lost City Of Gold (5 Shows): 25 tickets sold

Dora is pretty famous in Spain and the comp I used here is Pets 2 with 53 tickets sold and €2.38M OW so the comp for Dora is 1.12M but i think that's a bit too high comparing the UK and France numbers so €1M OW

Angel Has Fallen (8 shows): 16 tickets sold

The other two Fallen franchise films did 730K and 790K years ago and the comp is putting this with 500K (JW 3 comp) but I think that's too low. €680-700K OW but it could overperform because marketing push is big here.

Quien A Hierro Mata (5 Shows): 6 tickets sold

REC director Paco Plaza is releasing a thriller with Luis Tosar (big star here) as the lead. Veronica, Paco Plaza's latest film, did 700K two years ago. With more star power behind, I can see the film doing +€750K OW.

Playmobil (5 Shows): 0 tickets sold

Another family film coming this weekend. Film looks dull and boring and marketing push was a bit muted so don't expect big numbers. €180K or less OW

Anna (4 Shows): 0 tickets sold

The newest Luc Besson film flopped everywhere and I don't see Spain changing that. €120K OW

Photograph (5 Shows): 0 tickets sold

German film in limited release. Out Of Top 10

Weak new releases for this weekend in Spain. The two biggest ones are Litus, an Spanish comedy who could do some numbers and Five Feet Apart, the romance teenage drama. Both could enter the Top 10, even Top 5 if they overperform but I don't see more than 300K for both

Toy Story 3: €24,985,359

Toy Story 4: €20,756,981

Toy Story 3: 3,624,912 admissions

Toy Story 4: 3,643,280 admissions

Toy Story 3: €6.89 avg

Toy Story 4: €5.70 avg

With a bit more admissions than TS3, TS4 is grossing 4 million less. The 3D ratio in 2010 is the responsible of this gap.
