CoolioD1
I think the best editing I've seen was in Slumdog Millionaire. JFK. Easily JFK.
Jack Nevada
People say Run Lola Run is one of the best edited films, but I think it was just aping music videos and Danny Boyle's schtick without doing anything creative.
riczhang
I'd say North by Northwest, Citizen Kane, and Birth of a Nation are probably some of the best edited of all time.
4815162342
Rear Window you have to consider. The film lives and dies by the camerawork and the editing.
Jack Nevada
Why did The Artist get nominated for best editing? I liked the "BANG!" bit, it was clever, but still.. why?

The Stingray
Agree with whoever said JFK. JFK was fucking astounding. Movie was basically 3 hours long and kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time.

Jack Nevada
Huh? I've never heard of the film. Have to google it now. Dude, its fucking amazing. Its like this two hour experimental movie with amazing visuals and music by Philip Glass. Its some trippy stuff! It makes you feel small, lost in a mad universe or some shit. Its definitely something different.
